Well, ladies we all know what most women think about Men, don't we? Well, in my younger days I thought I knew exactly what I wanted in a man. As I gained greater knowledge and somehow received reconditioned braincells, I began to understand the differences in boys and men. It is a proven fact that Women mature faster than Men. Perhaps it is just one of those God given gifts to make the Men take notice a little faster, but none the less, in our younger days (unfortunately) we are put to the test as a woman, human being, logical thinker, and a general person. As news to the younger generation: "BE YOURSELF AND BECAREFUL WITH MEN". This comes from experience. Now I am not downing men, but I am expressing my personal opinion. There are a few (a handful) men that do not fit the same stereotype, but they are too few and far between. Ladies, if you have that perfect husband and have for a long time. Keep him because trust me he may be the only one on this planet. My Father was the perfect husband and to this day I can not believe there isn't another one out there like him. Of course the mold was disassembled after he was made. My Mother was the lucky on to have had almost 50 years of marriage with such a man.
The kind of man I would like would have to fit the following and not in any particular order:
kind, gentle, funny, loving, not too pushy, understandable, loves to watch movies and eat popcorn, someone who doesn't keep asking you if you love them, someone who doesn't make you promise that you love them, someone who doesn't have to keep saying I'm sorry, someone who doesn't mind helping with the dishes, someone who will clean up the water on the bathroom floor and sink after they finish showering and shaving, someone who puts the toilet lid down, someone who actually listens to what you are saying and doesn't just hear you, someone who doesn't continuously throws cigarettes in the toilet after you have explained for years that it will stop up the drain, someone who doesn't just want to be with me to have a sex partner, someone who doesn't always talk about how beautiful other women are, someone who loves my children and grandchildren and doesn't mind when they come to visit, someone who helps with the yardwork, someone who loves taking walks in the parks, someone who likes doing new things like art galleries or just seeing any place new and exciting.
Well, I suppose that sums it all up in a nutshell. I don't think it's too much to ask, do you?
